Our portfolio of skills embraces engineering consultancy, design, management consultancy, IT, facilities management, environmental services, project finance, project services, outsourcing, and property services. We work with public and private sector clients in a range of markets, including rail, roads, telecoms, nuclear, aviation, water, power, process, health, education, and defence. We operate from 175 offices around the world and employ over 15,000 permanent staff.

The variety of our work is extensive. It ranges from managing the capital expenditure projects on 3,500 petrol filling stations for Shell in 12 countries across Europe, and designing new biotechnology facilities for the delivery of the next generation of drugs. to advising BP on the safety of oil installations worldwide, and providing specialist advice on fluid flows around racing yachts.

With such an extensive portfolio of assignments it is hardly surprising that we have a great need for the broad-based skill set that a chemical engineering degree provides.

Consequently we recruit approximately 20 chemical engineering graduates and postgraduates each year. These recruits will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of assignments for clients in the oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage and semi-conductors industries. They will typically be involved in the design and construction of process plant and associated facilities. They also gain exposure to leading edge analysis in areas such as dynamic process simulation, computational fluid dynamics and human factors.
