Deal agreed to provide petchem engineering services

TOYO Engineering of Japan has agreed a partnership to provide comprehensive engineering services to BASF in the Asia Pacific region.

The three-year contract covers basic engineering, detailed engineering, procurement, construction management, and other project-related services in the petrochemical and chemical sectors.

Toyo says it will now participate in projects from the planning stages to help reduce BASF’s schedule lead times and investment costs.

In a statement, Toyo says the relationship it has built up with BASF over the last 15 years working on projects in China and Malaysia helped to secure the contract.
