Profile:
AMEC’s Upstream Oil & Gas business provides a wide range of services for offshore oil &
gas production facilities, from feasibility studies and front edge design through to delivery
of capital projects and life of asset support. We deliver world class skills, technologies and
professional services to improve our clients’ business performance. AMEC Upstream Oil
and Gas operates on a worldwide basis either via its own offices/ facilities or via a network
of joint ventures and alliances. The company has major facilities in the UK (London,
Newcastle, Aberdeen, Gt Yarmouth). Regional offices are also established in Houston,
Canada, Jakarta and Baku. Major projects are currently being undertaken in UK, USA,
Phillippines, Nigeria, Angola, Azerbaijan and Russia.

Learning and development:
You will work towards chartered status through our Managed Professional Development
Scheme for IChemE. During training you will undertake varied and challenging work, gaining
hands-on experience within several disciplines and projects. You will also participate in our
"Professional Portfolio" business skills development programme. Access to a mentor,
regular reviews, appraisals and informal feedback keep you and your managers up-to-date
with your performance and rewards.

Minimum qualification: Degree/Post Graduate Qualification in Chemical Engineering.
Preferred qualification: Meng
