Description:
Applications are invited from professional engineers with industrial design experience who are interested in teaching design to process engineers in a University environment.
As the Department continues to enhance the industrial relevancy of our courses and employability of our graduates we seek to strengthen the industrial contribution to our programmes. The person appointed will be required to develop and deliver industrially realistic curriculum material in conjunction with academic colleagues. They will also be expected, as an industrial tutor, to provide advice on industrial opportunities to students to aid the development of their employability and career aspirations
Candidates should be BEng or MEng qualified or equivalent and have significant experience as a practicing Engineer in relevant industries. We are looking for a team player with a strong track record of managing people, who is creative, innovative and committed to working with other staff in a teaching environment. Previous experience of teaching in any context, including the provision of CPD courses, will be strongly regarded.
