Ref 30930: Our client is a major blue chip organisation, specialising in the refining and production of a variety of chemicals across the globe. Due to changes in their refining process in order to maximise efficiency, they are currently looking to recruit a degree qualified chemical engineer, for the role of Process Development Engineer, to be based out of their site in North London. Responsibilities include: implementing the design, installation and commissioning of pilot plant for refining processes. ; liaising with sub-contractors and external companies used to realise projects on a day-to-day basis Involvement in Hazop at design stage of Pilot plant and Production Plant; operating pilot equipment and generate design data for production scale plant; design, specification, construction and operation of new processes; maintain and follow H&S, Environmental, Quality and Security Systems. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate experience in the practical operation pilot rigs, with a strong understanding of scale up principals.
