Ref 29100: Our client, a leading speciality chemicals manufacturer, is currently looking to add a degree qualified chemical engineer for the role of Process Project Engineer on a contract basis, due to an influx of new projects on site. The successful candidate will actively support the promotion of, and engage in, process and workplace SHE, especially the major accident hazards (COMAH) and Basis of Safety areas and be Site Project Team Lead Engineer on Process Engineering design process from concept through to commissioning Inc. (but not limited to) Hazops, Trip and Alarm assessments, pressure relief, heat and mass balances, equipment selection and costing, liaison with third parties equipment supplier and undertaking trials as appropriate. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Project Engineering including scope definition, cost estimation and input into project plans and subsequent cost control; supporting Site Process Engineering and Projects Manager and Site Process Engineer; and supporting and delivering process improvement opportunities through plant modifications.
