Description:

Our client is a major player in biopharm engineering successfully delivering a range of services to clients in the GMP regulated and batchwise chemical sectors. The services including conceptual/feasibility studies, site masterplans, FEEDS, full turnkey completion projects, modification/turnaround/shutdown programmes and client project/construction management. The organisation is currently extremely busy addressing projects in the UK and Europe that includes the capacity expansion to a major biochemical processing plant, technology transfer for a major API manufacturer, a machinery upgrade on a secondary pharma plant in addition to a host of outstanding engineering studies and proposals. As a consequence, the company would like to identify as a matter of priority a principal/process engineer capable of leading the development of a varied portfolio of design packages. The job holder, who will have extensive experience of determining the processes and systems for GMP facilities including API, biochemical and, ideally secondary manufacturing, will take full responsibility for deliverables including flow sheets, specifications, hazops, commissioning and start-up, operating manuals and process guarantees, etc.
