ABOUT RAPID

In a move to expand its Petrochemicals business and further spur the growth of Malaysia’s oil & gas downstream sector, we are building a new integrated refinery and petrochemicals complex in Southern Johor.

The new development, to be known as RAPID (Refinery and Petrochemicals Integrated Development) will comprise a crude oil refinery, a naphtha cracker that produce ethylene, propylene, C4 and C5 olefins, and a petrochemicals and polymer complex that will produce differentiated and highly-specialized chemicals.

The search for talented executives, with the expertise, skills and experience to operate effectively as members of the Project RAPID Team in this dynamic and unique environment is the focus of this advertisement. We seek engineering professionals to be in our team benefitting a multi-cultural work environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelors’ Degree in the following disciplines:

– Process/Chemical Engineering (REF: RAPID001)

– Mechanical Engineering (REF:RAPID002)

– Electrical Engineering (REF:RAPID003)

– Civil Engineering (REF:RAPID004)

– Instrumentation System & Control (REF:RAPID005)

• Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in refinery and petrochemical plants with sufficient exposure to managing capital project.

• Work experience in Project Engineering, Process Engineering, Project Planning & Control, Central Facilities and Infrastructure including Marine and Logistics AND/OR

• Work experience in product knowledge (petrochemical), business planning & commercial development, Production Planning (including knowledge in Linear Programing) in Refinery and Petrochemical plants, planning & executing Supply Chain and Logistic Management and JV Management.
