Description:

The School of Chemical Engineering and Advanced Materials, Newcastle University (UK), in partnership with the Singapore Institute of Technology offers a Chemical Engineering degree programme delivered in Singapore. We are now inviting applications for two lectureships to support this new and exciting undergraduate teaching initiative. You should have teaching experience in any of the following areas: transport processes, separation processes, process safety or sustainability.

You will be based in Singapore and have a comprehensive benefits package in addition to the competitive salary. You should have a PhD (or equivalent) in the area of Chemical Engineering. It is expected that you will be able to supervise undergraduate Chemical Engineering design projects and take on administrative duties.

The School has an international research reputation in the fields of process modelling and systems engineering, electrochemical engineering, energy, process intensification and the environment, and a tradition of undertaking research with purpose, bringing active industry engagement. You should fit within the existing School research portfolio, bring strong complementary skills to the existing research teams of the School and must be able to demonstrate a commitment to excel in research. Industrial experience will be an advantage.
