Description:

Our client is a speciality Chemicals manufacturer and has a number of sites across the UK. Due to increase in expenditure and production at their Yorkshire based facility they are looking to recruit a Process Safety Engineer. You will be educated to degree level in either science or engineering and should have or will be working towards charter ship. It would be beneficial to hold a post-graduate diploma in either Process safety management or occupational health and safety.

Reporting to the HSE Manager you will provide process safety expertise to ensure that best practice safety and environmental standards are established and maintained throughout the plant and process. You will be responsible for leading safety audits and design reviews on new and existing plant, participating in projects teams, leading the review and revision of COMAH safety reports, leading risk assessments and investigations and driving effective completion of improvement actions.
