Description:

CompactGTL is looking to take on additional resource for testing and development at their R&D testing facilities in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. This is an exciting new role supporting CompactGTL’s expert team of Engineers and Scientists in the testing of their Steam Methane Reforming, Catalytic Combustion and Fischer Tropsch processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate Chemical Engineer to become part of CompactGTL’s team. The initial focus will be on supporting the testing operations at Abingdon, but there will also be the opportunity over time to move into other areas supporting the process engineer teams in the design, engineering and operation of commercial GTL plants.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Day to day operation of experimental test facility (facility runs 24 hours a day)

• Provision of support for the operation of catalyst and reactor test facilities

• Preparation and commissioning of facilities for testing

• Implementation of agreed testing programmes

• Logging and interpretation of experimental data

• Maintaining accurate facility and experimental records
