Based within the Process Studies Group at Jealott’s Hill, your objective will be to apply chemical engineering principles to deliver improved agrochemical and seed production processes globally.

This role is as challenging as it is varied. Working within a multidisciplinary department, you’ll be responsible for improving manufacturing processes across our international supply chain and deliver strategic process development for new and existing products using scientific approach.

Fundamental core chemical engineering knowledge (mass and heat transfer, transport phenomena, reaction kinetics, etc), combined with strong numeracy and critical thinking are essential. Experimental laboratory experience/know-how is necessary as the context of the work is the application of engineering science to practical problems via representative scale-down.

With much of the role dependent on worldwide collaboration interpersonal skills are also essential. You should have at least a Bachelors degree in chemical engineering and be passionate about science. Candidates with a PhD degree are also welcomed.

To meet this challenge, you will need a tenacious drive to deliver solutions based on sound scientific work. This is a rare opening in a team with global outreach and international career opportunities.
