Description:

You will actively participate in the School’s undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes and will be expected to contribute to all aspects including lecturing, design project supervision, development of new pedagogical indicatives, module and where appropriate programme management. You will also be expected to contribute to the administrative activities within the School. You should have a PhD (or equivalent) in the area of Biochemical Engineering or related area and be able to demonstrate your excellence in research through publications in peer-reviewed journals. You should have supervised postgraduate research students and have (or be developing) an international reputation. The ability to work collaboratively with fellow academics/industry or other stakeholders is essential.

The School has a strong research culture that is recognised nationally and internationally and has a tradition of undertaking research with a purpose through strong industrial engagement. It is expected that your research interests will complement the School’s existing strength’s – (bio) process systems modeling, process intensification, electrochemical engineering, materials and sustainability.
