Ref: 20736.  Our client is a leading global manufacturer of petrochemicals. After recently developing a new technology to facilitate the manufacture of an advanced biofuel, they are seeking an Operations Process Design Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for process engineering design activities during the appraise, select and define stages of capital projects, the development of PFD’s and P&ID’s, working on engineering design fundamentals and the specification of engineering equipment, the preparation of process design package documentation and effective transfer to the project execution team, supporting the project completion through to commissioning and operation and continuous improvement of the pilot plant. Applicants should have experience in process design, with a good understanding of technologies relevant to the plant, such as fermentation, mechanical liquid solid separation, distillation and evaporation, knowledge of process safety management and be able to communicate effectively with other disciplines and functions.
