Our client is a major, international contractor and one of the few still taking full EPC completion responsibility for  the construction of world class greenfield developments out of London. The organisation has recently been awarded the contract to build a landmark $B plus, multi product onshore plant in the Middle East. As a consequence, a proven lead safety engineer to take full responsibility for all aspects of safety design on the project is sought. Ensuring that all statutory and project specific safety and design HSE requirements are accounted for, the job holder will lead/chair Hazops reviews, oversee the design of loss prevention systems such as those for fire protection detection, manage the development of safety cases and emergency shutdown policy and procedures, etc.
